Tampa Bay Acupuncture Clinic, established by Dr. Xiao Zhang, M.D., A.P., in February of 1994, has earned an excellent reputation and respect in the community by providing integrative medical care to the public in the Tampa Bay area.

Dr. Zhang's model in medicine is:
Mind, Body and Spirit. She strongly believes that the balance of the three is the key to health. She blends the practice of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, nutrition and western medicine into her daily work which has proven to be a very effective approach to healing.

Dr. Xiao Zhang is a Florida State Licensed Medical Doctor, Florida State licensed Acupuncturist and National Acupuncture Board Certified Acupuncture Physician. She graduated in 1982 with an M.D. degree from Shandong Medical College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China, where she then held the position of assistant professor until 1990, when she came to the United States.

Dr. Zhang has published several articles and papers, and has co-authored a textbook on Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in China. The "Acupuncture Points Flash Cards" system, which she co-authored with Barbara Squires, is used in Acupuncture Schools throughout the United States.

Dr. Zhang has been a guest speaker at University of Tampa, Hillsborough Community College, as well as the College of Medicine, the College of Nursing, and the College of Public Health at the University of South Florida.
